The Totnes Market takes place every Friday and Saturday throughout the year with 70+ stalls selling everything from streetfood and local produce to vintage clothes and collectibles. There’s also a Sunday Food and Craft Market, which is held on the third Sunday of every month. Another regular market is the Charity Elizabethan Market, which celebrates the town receiving a Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth I. This market is held every Tuesday from May to September. It takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from April to October in the Civic Hall (in the Market Square). Finally, the renowned Totnes Christmas Market and late Night Shopping events take place on the first three Tuesdays of December with live music and entertainment ensuring a very jolly, festive time for all the family.
There is a whole calendar of events going on at the attractions around the town. Dartington Hall host a summer music programme, as well as regular film screenings, while China Blue in the town centre host a number of events and workshops for you to join in with.
