Places to Stay in Exmouth

Exmouth is one of the oldest and prettiest towns in the whole county, located along the Jurassic Coast, there are two miles of beach and the town is known for being a regional centre for watersports.

Being on the coast and close to the East Devon Natural Landscape (AONB), naturally, there is an abundance of amazing food and drink which in turn means there are a host of wonderful Bed and Breakfasts and Guesthouses to be found, all offering comfortable accommodation and of course, an incredible breakfast to help start your day.

Self-catering cottages and more

If you’re someone that loves to do things at their own pace and wants to be close to the sea where you can join in with kite surfing, kayaking and windsurfing, take a look at the many cottages and other self-catering holiday homes in the town. Choosing a self-catering accommodation gives you the space to store your equipment and the freedom to come and go as you like. Many of these properties are also dog friendly, so you can explore the South West Coast Path together and have space for parking, so you can travel around at your leisure.

Choose a hotel with a view

As Exmouth is one of the most picturesque seaside towns in the county, you can be sure of some incredible views from your hotel room. Plus, as the town became hugely popular during the Georgian and Victorian eras, you’ll find that many of the hotels are built in the Georgian style, so even if you can’t see the waves crashing, you will have a lovely view of some very pretty and historic buildings.
