What's On in Crediton
With its thriving art scene, there is always something going on in Crediton. A series of talks, workshops and performances can be found at venues all over the town, including at the Arts Centre, local pubs and the library.
Having such historic links to the Christian church means that there is always something going on to mark religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, with activities for the whole family to get involved with.
Regular markets
Crediton features many local independent retailers and a thriving farmers’ market, making it an ideal place to spend your time enjoying a spot of retail therapy. The regular farmers’ market is a great way to pick up some unique products and some of the local food and drink that the town is famous for. Crediton is known for producing some of the best food in the region, particularly because much of the produce is grown organically on farms surrounding the town and the nearby countryside, with its micro climate, is ideal for farming game and vegetables.
As it is serviced by a mainline train service and is served by trains on the Barnstaple to Exeter line and the recently opened Okehampton line, it is easy to enjoy events in and around Crediton without having to worry about finding a designated driver or tackling some of those country lanes!
