Everyone is welcome

Across Seaton, you’ll find accessible toilet facilities, wheelchair-friendly options and more.

For a day out exploring nature, Seaton Wetlands has several accessible hides and its managers, EDDC, are committed to making it somewhere everyone can enjoy. Staff at the Wetlands have undertaken Disability and Deaf Awareness training; the site is mostly level with several wheelchair and pushchair suitable walking routes; there are guided tours in BSL and tour guides who are on hand to help those with visual impairments to navigate the site. You will also find off road mobility scooter hire and an accessible toilet that is always open.

Alternatively, Seaton Tramway offers accessible trips on their heritage trams, with BSL tours and trams with wheelchair space.

Or why not spend a day at the beach? Seaton Beach features a track to allow wheelchair and mobility scooter users to more easily enjoy the seafront. Initially a trial, it is hoped that the Tuff Trac path will be extended to give even more access to the beach.
