Sidmouth in Bloom: Nurturing Nature, Community & Colour
Our Mission
Sidmouth in Bloom is a volunteer-powered community group dedicated to enhancing the town through Horticulture, Environmental care, and Community spirit. We green public spaces, support local volunteer groups to protect our beautiful surroundings, and encourage residents to take pride in keeping Sidmouth sparkling clean and joyfully floral.
We also raise funds for planting projects and environmental upkeep, and run hands-on groups like:
-
The Sidplanters – regular gardening crew
-
The Sidcombers – beach cleaners
-
The Sidbashers – tackling Himalayan balsam
SIDMOUTH’S SECLUDED GARDENS – Summer Opening 2025
Explore six glorious, hidden gems in full bloom! Each garden has its style—from wildflower meadows to landscaped tiers and secret hideaways. All proceeds support Sidmouth in Bloom’s ongoing floral work.
🪴 Entry is £2 per garden or £8 for all six (cash only). Tickets available at Sidmouth TIC or on the garden gates. Some gardens will be serving homemade teas and cakes, because plants aren't the only things worth indulging in.
