Awards

Awards schemes and assessments are a great way to prove the quality of your business. These awards can give visitors a real peace of mind that you are evolving to fit with the ever changing wants and needs of the consumer, whether that is Green Tourism Accreditation or National Accessibility awards.

Visit Devon supports the quality assurance schemes operated by the AA as well as awards from Visit England, Visit Britain, the Green Tourism Business Scheme, the Good to Go scheme and a number of others.

Not accredited?
That’s fine, businesses that are not participating in an accredited scheme are still welcome to be members, but there will not be any assurances listed on their individual pages. If you want to find out more about award and accreditation schemes, please let your account manager know.

The Devon Tourism Awards

The annual Devon Tourism Awards celebrate the very best of the tourism industry within Devon with a range of categories available for businesses to enter. There are more than 20 categories to choose from and judging is carried out by an independent panel.

Successful businesses in the Devon Tourism Awards are fast tracked to the South West Tourism Excellence Awards and the National Visit England Awards.

By entering these awards you allow yourself to stand out from the crowd, receive promotion with long and short lists, can arrange a mystery shopper report and receive support and feedback from leading industry professionals.
