We know how it is, you scour the map and settle on an area of North Devon that best suits you, you find the right place to stay and then you decide to take a look at all the things you can do to occupy your time and find yourself getting overwhelmed. North Devon is a beautiful place and there is so much to see and do you can be forgiven for not knowing where to start. Don’t worry though, we’re here to help – we’ve put together a list of things you can do and even included the best time of day to do them.
Something for everyone
If you’re a history buff, be sure to check out our Second World War Itinerary where you can follow in the footsteps of two American Divisions who trained for D Day on our beaches. From watersports to popular tourist attractions, there are a whole host of ways to keep the whole family occupied while in North Devon, with something to suit every age!
Why not take the kids rockpooling and see what creatures you can find? Or why not head to one of the larger towns like Ilfracombe and explore some of the attractions? Or you could avoid the screens and introduce the kids to the great oudoors by spending the day on Exmoor!
You'll find plenty of options here, but you don't have to follow us exactly, there are loads of ways you can make your trip to North Devon as unique as you are!
