Sidmouth Sea Fest, renowned for its community spirit and welcoming atmosphere is an annual coastal celebration.
One year relocation – to a new sea spot!
Due to planned improvement works at the site of our usual venue at The Ham and eastern end of the Esplanade – for one special year we will be hosting a one day festival event at the beautiful Connaught Gardens by the sea.
The event will take a innovative form to really make the best of a new exciting venue for us – more news coming soon!
What is Sidmouth Sea Fest?
A friendly welcoming festival promoting protection of people and place side by side.
Established in 2014, this annual event is the kick off point to Sidmouth’s festival calendar.
A creative platform where community and visitors come together to celebrate our unique coastal location.

The festival features live music - bands, djs and choirs and our Creativity on the Coast programme; art and crafts, film, stories and entertainment.
Local food traders and our own Prawn Cocktail Bar offer locally sourced delights to sustain and nourish our festival goers plus coffees, cakes and ice cream to keep everyone happy!
A fun filled quirky festival for all the family and friends!
With collaborations with local community groups that celebrate everything in, on and by the sea.
Up and coming young local talent is a feature as well as established musicians inspiring our local rising musical stars.
With its own Sea Fest Coastal Community Choir singing shanties and always a special performance with children and young people there is a host of activities to entertain all day long and to dance together into the night.
2025 Sidmouth Sea Fest - a strictly single-use plastics free festival - will also call to action for people and planet - to support our wellbeing and protect our coastal environment – see our positive action as we lead the way in our environmental responsibilities as a Changemaker Champion.
