Devon & Partners LVEP Strategic Aims

Devon’s visitor economy is a vital part of the county’s prosperity, supporting thousands of jobs and businesses across towns, villages and coastal communities. The Devon and Partners Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) brings together key organisations and stakeholders to work collaboratively, ensuring Devon continues to thrive as one of England’s leading visitor destinations.

Through a shared strategic approach, the partnership aims to increase the value of tourism by encouraging more overnight stays, extending the visitor season and growing visitor spend across the region. At the same time, the LVEP will support tourism businesses to improve productivity, access new opportunities and benefit from shared knowledge, research and collaborative initiatives.

As Devon’s recognised destination partner with VisitBritain and VisitEngland, the partnership also provides a unified voice for the county at a national level, helping to influence tourism policy, strengthen the visitor economy and secure long-term growth for Devon.
