Why don’t you visit one of Devon’s best wildlife parks, Wildwood Devon? With 45 acres of parkland to explore, you can get up close and personal with a number of threatened and unusual species. Walk with Red Squirrels, spot a wallaby across the wetlands and come face to face with bears, wolves, lynx and more. 

From April 1st until April 16th, take part in the Easter Egg-stravagnza! Follow an Easter Trail throughout the park and complete it to win a prize. Explore the beech hedge maze during daily Easter egg hunts, follow the twisting turns and dead-ends to uncover clues and enjoy a chocolate prize. Take part in story-telling, crafting, face painting and more in their Saxon Village.

If you’re looking to explore of a piece of history in Ottery St Mary visit the Tumbling Weir. This rare design means it is definitely a beauty spot to visit when in Ottery, The circular weir allows water from a leat or man-made stream to reach the River Otter, cascading down the rings of the weir until it meets the River a few metres away. This rare design was created to help the region’s Wool production, which was a major industry for Devon until the early 18th-Century.
