East Devon is full of wildlife, in Ottery, you have access to the River Otter, where you can find the resident otters and a host of birdlife. Nearby, you have Seaton Wetlands and the River Otter Estuary Nature Reserve where you can go bird watching or keep an eye out for beavers and more.

East Devon is proud of its natural larder and it’s not hard to see why – wherever you visit you’ll find cafes, pubs and restaurants offering locally sourced food and drink. Not only that but if you visit during one of the many weekly markets, you can pick up local produce to cook yourself an incredible breakfast.
