Press & Media

One way in which we encourage the promotion of Devon to wide audiences is through press visits and the team at Visit Devon are happy to assist in anyway way possible to facilitate as many press visits to the region as possible. Ways in which we can help with these include offering advice and information about areas of the county, suggested itineraries and connections with local businesses to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

If you are interested in a press visit to Devon or any of our members, please get in touch with us so we can discuss further. We are always happy for writers, journalists, bloggers and other online creators to get in touch with us.

Film and TV promotion

Devon’s abundant countryside and coastal areas have been used as a backdrop to a number of film and television productions, including Steven Spielberg’s epic War Horse and the Netflix adaptation of Rebecca.

A number of television programmes celebrating Devon’s walks and railway heritage have been broadcast on ITV, BBC and Channel 5.

Devon is regularly featured in BBC Spotlight and board members are always happy to give interviews for radio, TV and news print. Feel free to get in touch to organise interviews. For more details on filming permits and information about filming on location, please contact us.
