The Euan’s Guide Access Survey is the longest running and largest survey of its kind in the UK and has been published for the past 8 years.
This year’s results have just been revealed and show that 72% of people found the accessibility information on a venue’s website to be misleading, confusing or inaccurate and 48% have experienced a disappointing trip or have had to change their plans because of poor accessibility. The results also show that 91% of participants try to find disabled access information about a new place before visiting and 58% said they avoided going to venues that don’t publicise their access information because they assume it is inaccessible.
