Debuted during the 2019 Sidmouth Walking Festival, the Sid Valley Ring trail was conceived through a collaborative effort between Sidmouth Town Council and the Sid Vale Association, utilising pre-existing footpaths that wind around the town. This thoughtfully marked pathway encircling the Sid Valley was established with dual objectives: firstly, to promote increased walking activity in the region, and secondly, to unveil to walkers, including numerous tourists, the splendid array of architectural wonders and breathtaking landscapes that the Sid Valley boasts.
