After an enforced absence of two years, the incredibly popular Sidmouth Town Band Christmas Concerts are returning to the Manor Pavilion Theatre to entertain with a good light-hearted mix of music and fun.
Concert goers have a chance to kick off their very own celebrations with the Band performing in the beautiful setting of the splendid Manor Pavilion Theatre on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December starting at 7.30pm and 2.30pm respectively. In these darker days, there’s no better combination to help focus on the Christmas season of goodwill, keep warm and raise your spirits, than Christmas and a brass band.
Forming a fitting finale to the band’s successful 2022 season, the concerts will feature some brand new arrangements of festive favourites blended with traditional seasonal music and a few humorous surprises mixed in for good measure all led by their Musical Director, Adrian Harvey. It is a concert with a real ‘feel good factor’.
Tickets are already selling fast, so to make sure you don’t miss out on what promises to be two great musical treats, you can buy your tickets (priced at just £7.50) from the Manor Pavilion Box Office at www.manorpavilion.com or on 01395 514413.
In addition to the concerts, the band will be busy over the Christmas period playing at many locations all over the Sid Valley including Sidbury, Sidford, Fortescue and around the town itself whilst also playing at some of the local events, including the Connaught at Christmas evenings and the Rugby Club lunch. The festive period finishes off with the annual Christmas Eve Carol playing around various pubs and hotels starting outside the Anchor Inn at 7pm.
