Sidmouth School of Art’s latest billboard artwork, View From Peak Hill, is on display at Ham car park in time for Sidmouth Folk Festival.

Created by local artist, Victoria Goodman, View From Peak Hill is a vivid and uplifting piece that is evocative of the scenery on Sidmouth’s doorstep. Victoria grew up in the West Country, before studying in London where she graduated with a BA and a Masters’. She now lives and works in the Devon countryside, which influences her work.

David Shrigley, Sidmouth School of Art Trustee, said: “We’re really pleased to be showing Victoria’s work on Sidmouth Wallspace, which is an amazing platform. Nurturing local creative talent and access to art for everyone is central to what we do at Sidmouth School of Art.”

View From Peak Hill is currently being exhibited at the Sidmouth Wall Space public art gallery overlooking the Ham East Car Park. You can find out more here.
