Budleigh Salterton has been described as “wonderfully unspoilt” by UK newspaper The Express. This comes after The Times ranked Budleigh Beach among the Top 10 in the South West.
Both sites sang Budleigh’s praises, referring to it as “delightfully preserved” and notes that it is a great destination for families and couples alike. Speaking to the Express, Alex Gwillim, from Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays, said: “Budleigh Salterton is a real hidden gem, boasting a beautiful pebble beach that stretches over two miles, the iconic red sandstone cliffs of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coast, and a small town filled with unique local businesses to explore.”
The team at Sweetcombe Cottages also highlighted the various activities and accommodation options available to visitors, including the range of watersports and the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve.
