"We welcomed Richard Foord MP to our holiday park near Sidmouth this weekend as part of English Tourism Week celebrations. The Liberal Democrat MP for Honiton and Sidmouth toured our facilities and discussed the importance of tourism to the local economy.
About Richard Foord MP
Richard Foord is a Liberal Democrat politician and former British Army officer who serves as the Member of Parliament for Honiton and Sidmouth. Following a decade of military service reaching the rank of Major, he now lives in Uffculme with his wife and three children. He remains active in local charitable initiatives.
English Tourism Week Visit
The visit coincided with English Tourism Week, the annual VisitEngland initiative that showcases the tourism sector's contributions to local economies and communities.
Alastair and Roger Franks welcomed Mr. Foord, while Park Manager Jason Taylor guided him through our facilities. The tour included our new children's play area and our crown jewel – the Oakmead Golf Course and Café, where Mr. Foord enjoyed teeing off on our USGA-constructed family friendly 9 holes golf course, that benefits from meticulous grounds keeping and year-round maintenance.
