The Harbour Hotel in Sidmouth has been named the ‘best value spa hotel in Devon’ by the Telegraph, which praised its views, facilities and prices.

In the article, the Telegraph said: “Attracting style conscious retirees, this contemporary East Devon seafront hotel has knockout views of the Regency town of Sidmouth and Jurassic Coastline.

“There’s a spotlessly clean spa, lap pool, steam room, sauna, gym and spa that offers massages, facials and holistic therapies. The function room doubles as an exercise studio offering regular classes for the over-55s. Outside, overlooking the sea, is a decked terrace and a small heated lap pool.

“Considering its location, design and facilities vs price, it’s a good value spa stay.”

The Harbour Hotel has also previously been included in the newspaper’s list of best seaside and beach hotels and has a Conde Nast Traveller Reader’s Choice award.

The Telegraph also mentioned other hotels across the county, including naming Plymouth’s Boringdon Hall as the based spa hotel in Devon overall and Woolacombe Bay as best for families.
