Follow Elton’s lead and step into Christmas in Sidmouth with the annual Late Night Shopping event and Light Switch on, both happening on the 16th November
In recent years, the two events are hosted on different days, but for 2024, they are being combined to make one large Christmas themed event to get you all excited for the upcoming festivities. Head to Sidmouth Highstreet for 5pm to experience the magic, once again beginning with the annual Golden Ticket draw, which will see one lucky winner receive £100 of Gilddons toy vouchers for use at the store in town! If that isn’t enough to make someone’s Christmas, you’ll also have the chance to grab some gifts with the late night opening after the lights are switched on to create the perfect festive atmosphere.
Throughout the event, you can enjoy live music from Vine and Dandy and Sid Valley Radio will be broadcasting live from the Market Place.
Speaking about the upcoming event, representatives from Sidmouth Chamber of Commerce said: “We’re joining forces to bring you a fantastic combined Late Night Shopping and Christmas Light Switch-on event. Get ready for an evening full of festive cheer with extended shopping hours, local entertainment and the dazzling moment when Sidmouth’s Christmas lights sparkle to life!”
