Sidmouth School of Art is hosting a series of one day workshops at Kennaway House from 9th – 11th April. The workshops will allow members of the public to create and curate a One Day Museum event, which will take place on 13th April.

The workshops are free to attend and are open to everybody to take part. Participants are asked to bring everyday items along with them to be reimagined into exhibits for the museum. All items will be returned after the pop up museum open day. The event, A Museum Made Together is being brought to the town in collaboration with artist David Bellingham, who will be presenting his own work on Sidmouth’s Wallspace.

Taking place during the Easter holidays, places on the workshops can be booked here.

Coco Hodgkinson, artistic director of Sidmouth School of Art, said: “The Sidmouth School of Art vision is to make Sidmouth the artwork and provide a wide range of creative opportunities for people to get involved and explore their creativity without feeling they have to be ‘good at art’. We work with local, national and international artists and are delighted to welcome David Bellingham to Sidmouth as part of our skills and confidence-building community approach.”
