About

Nowhere else is there a place quite like Source…

North Devon’s finest coastal spa will take your breath away. Set atop the cliffs on the North Devon coast, Source Spa and Wellness at Saunton Sands Hotel is situated in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and overlooks the breathtaking Saunton Sands beach, Atlantic Ocean and the awesome dunes of Braunton Burrows.

Inspired by our natural playground, Source Spa facilities include a marine-inspired thermal suite with a salt inhalation steam room, Finnish aroma sauna, ice fountain, contrast shower and vitality pool filled with mineral-rich Dead Sea salt water, jets for a mini hydrotherapy experience and a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the Atlantic ocean. For the active, there’s a tennis court with free equipment hire, gym and daily fitness and wellbeing classes including yoga, Pilates, tai chi, dance fitness, meditation and much more. Two large heated pools await, one indoors and another outdoors that looks out over with beach, and in the winter months, the pool is unheated for cold water immersion, with Dryrobes provided to cosy up in after - and that’s just level one!

Level two boasts six large treatment rooms, including a double room with an epic beach vista. There’s an extensive range of sublime spa treatments, promising sheer relaxation and 5-star pampering using our own natural Source Spa Collection formulated by the Natural Spa Factory, which is proudly cruelty-free, clean skincare, plus innovative cosmeceutical skincare brand; iS Clinical (also cruelty-free).

Level three is all about relaxation. Post-treatment, chill on our rooftop sundeck or in our relaxation room on our plush beds, both with the sensational sight of the ocean, golden sands and beyond. Level up your spa experience and order cocktails or prosecco from the Brend Ordering App.

We invite you to leave it all behind, take a seat by the sea at our luxury spa and join us for a full spa day, evening spa session, spa break or even just a nourishing treatment. Whichever you choose, you can expect a sophisticated spa experience for you to recharge, revitalise & reset your internal compass.

Some of our favourites include our Twilight Spa, giving you use of our luxurious spa facilities with a glass of prosecco between 6.30 and 9pm. Alternatively, join us for a full day of pampering with a purpose on our Source Spa Day, which includes a 60-minute treatment, lunch or afternoon tea and use of all of our facilities. How about 24 hours of pure escapism? Choose to stay the night with one of our seasonal overnight spa breaks, with a treatment, 3-course dinner, breakfast, fitness and wellbeing classes, facilities and a stay in a cosy room. Maybe even stay a little longer and explore our 2 or more night spa breaks.
