The Exmoor National Park is a beautiful place to visit, especially in the spring when you have the new pony foals staggering around and the new spring colours popping up across the heathland and the coastal paths.

For those that love literature
Exmoor National Park is famous for its literary connections, many of the UK’s best loved romantic poets called the region home for some time and authors like Charles Kingsley and Rudyard Kipling have areas named after them and their works. For those who love stargazing
Exmoor was the first Dark Skies Reserve in Europe and is now one of several places where the night skies are perfectly clear due to a lack of light pollution. There is an annual Dark Skies Festival later in the year, but if you’re visiting in March, there are stargazing events going on at the Politmore Inn.
