As lockdown continues, we thought we’d bring the beauty of north Devon to you with some of our favourite photos from Combe Martin. It might be a small village, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty to see and do while you’re there!
The South West Coast Path runs through the village allowing you to easily visit the surrounding areas and the gorgeous North Devon coast, plus there are a number of great traditions that can be found here, like the Hunting of the Earl of Rone which usually takes place in the spring, though we suspect we might have to give it a miss this year.
Obviously we can’t start this off without some pictures of the coast, like this one from @_zwielichtig on Instagram.
And this one, from @when_she_travels
The view from Little Hangman, just outside the village is pretty special too.

Stepping away from the coast, one of our favourite things about Combe Martin is the Pack O’ Cards – one of the most fascinating places in the whole of North Devon. It’s a pub but the design is based on a pack of cards!

It’s also the place to be for those of you that want to re-enact Jurassic Park – there is a dinosaur and wildlife park!
