Arlington Court National Trust invites visitors to experience the magic of a Victorian holiday season. This year, enjoy decorations inspired by timeless carols, festive family activities, and a special offer to bring a friend for free.
Christmas at Arlington is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from now until December 15th. It will then be open daily from December 16th to January 5th, excluding December 24th, 25th, and 26th.
Take advantage of the special offer to bring a friend for free between December 14th and 20th. This offer is available to any member with a valid membership card or visitors who pay full entry during these dates. Please visit the Arlington website for full details.
Kate Godden, Experience & Visitor Programming Manager, said: "We want as many people as possible to enjoy the Christmas offer at Arlington this year. Inviting members and visitors to bring a friend for free is a great way to share the magic of Arlington’s Christmas with loved ones."
Arlington Court’s evening openings are back on December 5th, 12th, and 19th. The house will stay open until 7pm, allowing visitors to experience it after dark. Enjoy forest school activities, a selection of artworks and gifts from local artists, and festive treats in the tea-room.
Each room in the house will be themed around a classic Victorian Christmas Carol, offering a unique and enchanting experience. From ships sailing down the dining room table to three kings in the Ante Room, a silent night in the library, and sheep roaming the White Drawing Room, the decorations promise to captivate visitors of all ages.
Outside, visitors can explore a Mystery Melodies family trail and discover a unique take on the '12 Days of Christmas' in the garden. The popular vegetable nativity will also return, displayed in the walled garden.
