Whether you love a staycation or a day trip, make sure to get involved in this year’s English Tourism Week.
Taking place from 17th-26th March, English Tourism Week is lead by the team at VisitEngland who will be celebrating everything from tiny B&Bs, large hotels, family friendly attractions and the region’s natural beauty, such as the beaches and places like the Exmoor National Park. According to their research, tourism across England generated over £100 billion in 2019 and supports over 2 million jobs – and we think that is definitely worth celebrating!
North Devon is the South West of England’s premier surfing location and is even part of the UK’s first surf reserve, but that’s not all – here you’ll also find historic monuments, delightful food and drink, Exmoor ponies, a dark skies reserve and lots more! We know that North Devon is amazing but we want to hear from you, so this English Tourism Week, get in touch with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and share your favourite moments from visits to North Devon!
Whether you spent a day exploring the coast or a week sampling amazing food and drink in Ilfracombe, we want to know about it and don’t forget, add the 17th – 26th March into your diaries and keep an eye out for the various events and activities that will be taking place across England!
