English Tourism Week, the annual celebration of England’s tourism industry returns between 15th and 24th March and there is nowhere better to spend the week than North Devon and Exmoor.
English Tourism Week, which is organised by Visit Britain and Visit England takes place every year and aims to highlight the importance, value and vast contribution that the tourism industry makes to England’s (and the wider UK’s) economy. It is also an opportunity to explore some of England’s best loved and most beautiful places, which is why North Devon, with its award winning coastline and Surf Reserve status is a great place to celebrate the tourism industry.
Don’t forget about the beauty that is Exmoor though – the National Park is a Dark Skies Reserve and is home to not only the iconic Exmoor ponies but also feral goats, birds of prey and a host of other animals and plant life.
