All three Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks have been named among the top 10% of destinations worldwide by Tripadvisor in its 2025 Travellers Choice Awards.
Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park, Twitchen House and Easewell Farm win the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards to complete the clean sweep, placing the parks firmly among the UK’s most-loved family-friendly holiday breaks.
Each year, Tripadvisor recognises the best destinations, hotels, restaurants, and experiences across the globe through its Travellers’ Choice, and the 2025 winners are now being revealed.
What is Travellers’ Choice?
Tripadvisor gives a Travellers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
Why have all 3 holiday parks won the award?
The awards are based on the insight of real holiday-makers, meaning that quite literally every positive experience customers have had at the three Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks have made a difference. Kevin Darvill, the Sales and Marketing Director of Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks offered the below comment: “We’re absolutely thrilled that all three of our Parks have received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2025. What makes this recognition so special is that it’s based entirely on real feedback from our guests. It’s a true reflection of the hard work and passion our team puts into making every holiday memorable. We’re constantly investing in new experiences, with over £6m invested in the past two years along with exciting new accommodation plus top-quality facilities, and it’s fantastic to see our efforts being recognised by the people who matter most; our holidaymakers.”
1. Consistent and excellent guest reviews
The Tripadvisor reviews for all 3 parks are amongst the best in the region with all 3 scoring 4 or above out of 5. Looking at the top rated elements of the 3 parks, the rooms, cleanliness, location value and facilities are all ranked extremely highly.
2. Impressive upgrades to current facilities
2025 has seen a £3 million boost for Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, with the launch of the new Emerald caravans (boasting full-size baths, private decking and gas barbeques) and a brand new energy efficient outdoor pool (with a fun-filled splash pad water play area and multi-lane slide along with a twisting water flume). The new pool will be available for guests from the 17th May. The new Wavesufer surfing simulator at Twitchen House is also an example of the constant push towards great activities for families to enjoy.
3. An idyllic location
Woolacombe is consistently featured as one of the most popular beaches in the UK and the extensive positive reviews it has on Tripadvisor are testament to this. The beach is within walking distance from Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park and perfect for those looking to squeeze in a couple of beach days on their break. Devon is also in the top 5 counties for overnight visits, so great holiday parks are an essential feature of the county’s accommodation options.
