Tarka Trail Camping is a ‘Green’, family owned and run campsite beside the beautiful Tarka Trail next to the River Taw Estuary. Our large, level, grassed camping field is open from Easter until September with water and toilets available onsite. Well behaved dogs are welcome to share happy holidays with you and must be kept on a lead at all times.
The adjacent Tarka Trail is perfect for walking and cycling with miles of stunning country and estuary views. And if all that walking has brought on a thirst, visit Lawrence and relax with a drink at the Yelland Manor Micro Brewery next door.
Easy to access, Tarka Trail Camping is perfect for exploring the stunning coast and countryside of North Devon. We are 5 miles from the historic town of Bideford and 5 miles from the ancient market town of Barnstaple, with Instow, Westleigh and Fremington within walking distance in between.
