The Trinity Hill Circular Walk is a peaceful, scenic route through Trinity Hill Nature Reserve, just outside Axminster. This gentle loop explores one of East Devon’s quieter landscapes, combining open heathland, shady woodland, and seasonal wildflower meadows.
Starting from the reserve entrance, the trail winds through varied habitats that support a rich mix of wildlife. Deer are often seen moving through the trees, while birds of prey can frequently be spotted soaring overhead. As the path rises gently, wide views open out across the Axe Valley, rewarding the steady walking with a real sense of space and calm.
