Roundball Hill Circular Walk, Honiton

This short but rewarding circular walk starts and finishes at Honiton Train Station, offering a peaceful escape into the countryside just moments from the town centre.

Leaving the station, the route heads out through the edge of Honiton before gently climbing into open fields and pockets of woodland. As you gain height, views begin to open up across the town and surrounding landscape, giving a sense of rural tranquillity surprisingly close to urban life.

The route continues steadily uphill towards Roundball Hill, where the summit provides one of the best viewpoints in the area. From here, panoramic views stretch across Honiton and the rolling hills of East Devon, making it an ideal spot to pause and enjoy the scenery.

Descending back towards the town, the walk follows quiet paths and field edges, completing a compact loop that combines gentle exercise with wide open views. Well suited for a short outing or a quick break in nature, this walk offers an accessible and scenic experience for most walkers.
