Axmouth & Cliffs Circular

​The Axmouth and Cliffs Circular Walk is a scenic route that combines river estuary views with coastal cliff panoramas. Beginning in the village of Axmouth, the trail follows the banks of the River Axe, offering picturesque views of the estuary and surrounding countryside. As the path ascends, walkers are rewarded with expansive vistas over the Axe Valley and the English Channel. A notable feature of this walk is its passage through the Axe Cliff Golf Club; walkers are welcome to traverse the course, but it's advisable to remain vigilant for golfers in play. The route is approximately 6 miles in length, with an estimated duration of 2 to 2.5 hours, making it suitable for most walkers. Sturdy footwear is recommended due to varied terrain, including grassy paths and uneven ground.
