Devon hosts vibrant events throughout the summer months, including numerous festivals, like the Sidmouth Folk Festival, Beautiful Days and more.

One traditional event to enjoy while in Devon over the summer is a local regatta. Dartmouth in South Devon and Sidmouth in East Devon both host regattas over the August bank holiday or if you’re in North Devon, don’t forget to check out Clovelly’s Regatta.

Towards the end of summer, you can catch the National Fireworks Championships, hosted every year in Plymouth. Wherever you are in Devon, you’ll find amazing things to do throughout the summer months.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the beauty of the National Parks, Exmoor and Dartmoor, where families can enjoy everything from hiking, picknicking and adventure activities, like climbing or just exploring the historical sites and stone circles.
