Devon’s tourism community came together for a memorable evening at the 2025/26 Devon Tourism Awards, celebrating the dedication, innovation and hospitality that continue to shape the county’s visitor experience.
This year’s accolades highlighted an inspiring range of achievements. Clawford Lakes Resort & Spa was honoured as Winner of Winners, reflecting its continued commitment to excellence. Scribbleton and River Dart Country Park were recognised as Small Visitor Attraction of the Year, while Stuart Line Cruises and The Donkey Sanctuary received the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year titles. In the hotel categories, Cary Arms & Spa, Mill End Hotel, and Gidleigh Park were awarded Small Hotel of the Year, with The Victoria Hotel, Woolacombe Bay Hotel, and Bovey Castle recognised as Large Hotel of the Year.
Innovation was celebrated with the New Tourism Business of the Year Award going to Scribbleton, and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery was presented with the International Tourism Award for its global engagement and impact. Holiday Park of the Year was awarded to Cofton Holidays, Andrewshayes Holiday Park, Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park, and Clawford Lakes Resort & Spa, demonstrating the strength of Devon’s family and group accommodation. Commitment to accessibility was acknowledged with Calvert Devon receiving the Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award. Dog friendly providers were also highlighted, with Cofton Holidays, Rill House, Clawford Lakes Resort & Spa, Mill End Hotel, and Whitebeam Wood recognised for ensuring all visitors, including four legged companions, feel welcome!
A special congratulations is also due to Vince Flower, Director of Visit Devon, who received the Outstanding Contribution to Tourism Award! His leadership and commitment have played a vital role in supporting and elevating Devon’s visitor economy.
The awards closed on an optimistic note, highlighting an industry full of energy and ambition. With such a strong foundation and a wealth of talent across the county, Devon’s tourism sector is well positioned for another successful and inspiring year!
