What's on Mid Devon

You’ll never be short of things to do in Mid Devon. Home to one of the county’s most popular cities, there really is something for every taste and budget to be found here.

Mid Devon is an ideal spot for anyone coming to the county, as you’re never too far from countryside, coastlines, shopping centres, museums and pretty much everything else you could possibly think of! 

The area boasts a wide variety of events and activities, there is wildlife galore, making it perfect for anyone looking for somewhere to go on long walks or a spot of birdwatching, plus there is a rich cultural history, so there are museums and other heritage sites to visit which regularly hosts events all through the year. Mid Devon is where you’ll find the only remaining horse drawn barge in the country, as well as an array of vineyards and microbreweries which offer tours, tastings and courses! Families need not worry, there are plenty of things which people of all ages can get involved with.

Mid Devon has a whole host of festivals that take place all year round, from Food Festivals using the region’s local produce, literature festivals, agricultural shows and music festivals, there will be something to suit everyone’s interests.

Whether you’re looking for something to entertain the whole family or just an activity for the adults to while away a few hours, you’ll find it here.  Keep up to date with all the events and activities going on in Mid Devon by checking back, there are so many things going on in the area, you’ll want to stay for a while!
