About

North Devon Wake Park

Located in the stunning landscape of North Devon and only 10 minutes away from the coast, North Devon Wake Park boasts the best of both worlds. Our stunning lake is situated in the beautiful fields of North Devon and is accompanied by a wooden clubhouse, undercover decking and luscious grassed areas, it is the perfect place to come and enjoy this charming setting and take on an enjoyable and entertaining activity, and what a perfect way to have a top day out in Devon.

It doesn't matter if you have never wakeboarded or partaken in any of our activities, we'll get you started with the best activities in North Devon

Aquapark

Our Aquapark is an outdoor water-based activity on our lake, making it a unique adventure for all the family with our minimum age being 5 and no maximum. Each year we try and improve our park to make it even more enjoyable and be a top day out in Devon. For 2019 we’re changing the whole park layout with the addition of some brand-new features.

Wakeboard

Cable wakeboarding is like skateboarding and snowboarding, but on water pulled by an overhead cable. Every wakeboard session comes with professional coaching from some of the UK's best wakeboarders. All our coaches are BWSW accredited and licensed to provide the highest level of coaching. We have 2 straight line cables to pull you with 1-2-1 coaching and our brand new full size cable to pull you along. These are both very fun and amazing ways to improve your wakeboarding and get on the water

Paddleboard

Paddle boarding is one of the amazing activities we offer on the lake. This we have extended the paddleboard area to the length of the lake and got a brand new 10-person SUPER SUP!!!! This is a very fun activity and can be used in so many ways and again another activity for the whole family.

Ringo

Ringo rides are great fun for those who like speed! These rides are not only fun on their own, but as the finale for a party, both for children and adults alike! This can be as exhilarating as when going behind the boat or a lot tamer for the ones who want.

Open Water Swimming

This is a new addition for this year and with our new lake we have a 550m circuit. With calm water to swim those distances and then somewhere to get warm food and drink after.

Lakeside Café

We have a small cafe on site to cater for all your needs providing delicious food at a reasonable price. In the club house we have an indoor eating area for the cafe to keep warm and out of the wet. Outside we have an undercover area and picnic tables for everybody to enjoy and with a perfect view of the lake to watch everybody have a blast.

Package activities

Our activities can be done individually, or you can make the most of the activities and spend the whole day at our stunning lake. We offer packages to partake in 3 or 4 of our activities from just £30 per person to make a top day out in Devon.

North Devon Wake Park opened in 2014, ND Wake Park became the very first cable wakeboard park in Devon, whereby our expert coaches help to teach, progress, and encourage participants to enjoy wakeboarding. We operate with 2 Sesitec System 2.0’s; a straight-line cable where one person at a time can go, these systems have been shown to have the quickest progression and success rate in wakeboarding.

In 2016 we launched our Aquapark; the first inflatable waterpark in the South West to be installed. This water-based playground has slides, balance beams and trampolines, perfect for all ages from 6 upwards – and beware, the adults have as much fun as the kids! We pride ourselves on ensuring that everyone has the best time possible, so we have taken the decision to limit the number of people by half the recommended capacity so there’s no doubt that everyone has plenty of space…and fun. This is supervised by our handpicked lifeguards, ready to cater to and help everyone.

2018 is our big year, with new additions being made to the aquapark to further increase everyone’s enjoyment, as well huge increases in the decking and undercover area, with benches and a viewing area to get the best view of the Wake Park. Maybe the biggest change of all will be to our cables, where we are extending one of the lines by 50 metres to lengthen our riding areas…and you know what that means? New obstacles! Finally, we are excited to announce that this year we are launching our online booking system on our website for individual bookings, group bookings and gift vouchers for the AquaPark and Paddleboarding.

2020 was the biggest project that we have undertaken. We dug out our lake bigger to add the new full size cable. We also dug out 2 new lakes for the straight line cable now the site is perfect for learning and those wanting to get lots of wakeboarding in. We couldn’t be more happy with how the centre looks now and can’t wait for people to come down and enjoy it more.
