An English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark Key Site.
Kents Cavern is one of Europe’s top and most exciting Stone Age caves, with an extensive labyrinth of spectacular and easily accessible caverns open daily all year. Our entertaining guides will take you on an underground adventure in this award winning attraction and Stone Age home to Britain’s earliest humans and Ice Age beasts. Trips around the caves explore fascinating passageways and stunning chambers where you can get up close with thousands of year old cave formations.
There’s loads to do outside the caves, with fun family activities throughout the school holidays, where you can channel the skills of your ancestors on our Woodland Trail. Hunt for animals like woolly mammoths, hyenas and cave bears; see if you could survive the Stone Age at our spear throwing and shelter building stations.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite head into Firestone Kitchen, the home of food and drink at the caves for top quality food throughout the day. (Top tip: you don’t need to visit the caves to enjoy Firestone Kitchen!)
Every day during school holidays, there are lots of extra craft sessions to get involved with. Loads of special events throughout the year including our famous Santa in the Caves experience, Carols Underground, Candlelit tours, Cave Cinema, Dinosaur Quest and more! Check out our website for more information, prices and how to book: https://www.kents-cavern.co.uk/.
Please note: there is a £2 charge for use of the on-site car park.
