Get away from the strain of everyday life, walk across the beautiful countryside, visit the sea or simply enjoy the stunning views that North Devon has to offer and as we have Farmhouse B&B accommodation all over the region, we have the perfect base for you to retire to after a long day exploring the gorgeous landscape.
Spend a few days relaxing in one of our beautiful farmhouse bed and breakfasts on working farms and small holdings. This part of the world is famous for its rolling landscapes and being close to some of the most picturesque coast lines in the UK. You can choose from one of our friendly b&b’s, all in beautiful locations, across this spectacular region. over-looking our blue-flag beaches to the foothills of Dartmoor, heather filled fields of Exmoor and the towns of Bude and Ruby Country in the south of the region.
When you stay on one of our farms for a few days, experience something a little different and get up close to friendly animals, see how the farmers work and perhaps even witness the birth of a lamb or two! Will you go out and feed the chickens or even spy some kittens or wildlife on a farm walk?
Holidaying on our North Devon farms is a special experience. All the farm bed and breakfast’s pride themselves on their warmth of welcome and the quality of their produce, both home grown and locally sourced, which they enjoy sharing with you.
This part of the world is a must visit destination which has something for everyone no matter what their taste. There are many great attractions and surfing schools for the thrill seekers among you and of course, the beautiful beaches and countryside for those wanting a quieter, calmer experience. If you’re interested in a unique shopping experience, we have many fascinating high streets, many of them historical and retaining many of their original features.
While staying with us, you can take a walk on the dramatic South West coastal path where the North Devon coastline gives wonderful views of some of the best unspoilt beaches in the country, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborough, Woolacombe, Instow, Westward Ho, Widmouth Bay are all nearby, as are the National Trust beaches of Sandymouth and Duckpool. Crookletts and Summerleaze in Bude, near Holsworthy are only a short journey away. You can learn to surf and body board on these wonderful beaches.
All the beaches in the area offer crystal blue seas where you can surf, swim or just use the time to relax. The Tarka Trail and Ruby Way are both ideal for cycling or walking holidays and we provide a perfect base to enjoy them. If you’re looking for something a bit more dramatic, visit the rugged cliffs of Hartland point and Clovelly.
Braunton Burrows, also nearby, is, like most of the region, an area of outstanding natural beauty, here you can enjoy wildflowers and birdlife and join one of the many cycle and walking trails.
There are many eateries around the North Devon area, from award-winning restaurants serving the best Devon caught sea food or cosy tea rooms where you can experience a traditional Devonshire Cream Tea.
