HARTA retreat

About

HARTA retreat is a tranquil couples hide away with luxury glamping for two in a cosy tipi. Set amongst the scenic hills and meadows of North Devon, and only a short drive from award winning sandy beaches, the romantic luxury tipis with en-suite bathroom will not disappoint. With underfloor heating (powered by sustainable energy source) and a traditional log burning stove, the tipis provide a unique glamping experience all year round.

Stay in one of two luxury accommodation – Dancing Deer or Sitting Bull – each having the same spacious open plan design but boasting slightly different lavish interiors. These unique, British handcrafted tipis have all you need for the perfect romantic break:

  • A spacious master bedroom with comfortable king size bed and soft organic linens
  • There is underfloor heating throughout keeping the chill out of your living space and en-suite bathroom. The traditional log burner provides additional warmth and cosiness, a perfect place to relax after a day exploring.
  • The adjoining bathroom has an elegant roll-top bath, flushing loo J and a heated towel rail to warm the fluffy towels provided
  • A private outdoor rainfall shower – a perfect way to heighten your senses, but if getting in touch with your inner Wim Hof is not your cup of tea then just turn on the hot water.
  • Complimentary luxury eco-friendly hand care and reed diffusers to create a spa-like environment
  • USB charging points and electricity sockets
  • A Nespresso coffee machine and kettle are provided to boost your day with your favourite brew. There is also a mini fridge to keep refreshments and produce cold.
  • An outdoor cooking area and fire pit, if you fancy trying out your Bear Grylls skills. Fancy a break from cooking? Then a delicious curry can be prepared by your hosts and delivered to your tipi.
  • Nestled in 46 acres of woodland and meadow, with pond and stream. Laze by the pond in a hammock, perhaps with a picnic or a drink or two.
  • On-site tennis court if you fancy a bit of exercise.
  • Gastro pub and farm shop – just 10 mins drive away
  • Exmoor National Park and the beaches of North Devon Coast are both a short drive away.

Escape the busy urban life to this romantic getaway in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. A perfect place to unwind, recharge and connect with nature, listening to owls hooting and the rustling of the stream.
