Rich clotted cream, mellow amber cider, fresh sweet crab, tender flavoursome beef ... just a small sample of Devon produce that's enjoyed and recognised worldwide.
But then, given its lush farmland and bounteous seas, this should come as no surprise. Combine excellent natural harvests and talented artisan producers and you get the delicious local food and drink (some of it award-winning) that can be found in restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops in Devon all year round.
Check out the Devon farmers' market that are held in most towns for great produce fresh from the producer, too.
