Dining at Victoria Hotel

About

The Victoria Hotel in Sidmouth has always been renowned for its fine dining.

The White Room

The additional choice for all our guests is a wonderful informal dining experience at our restaurant, The White Room. The crisp, contemporary decor and glittering chandelier lighting create a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere in which to enjoy classic recipes and top quality wines. With its casual dress code and informal style, The White Room is a laid-back setting in which to enjoy exceptional dishes prepared by our talented team of innovative chefs, using the freshest local ingredients. The whole concept behind The White Room has been devised by the Head Chef of the Victoria Hotel, Stuart White, and reflects both Stuart’s classical training in French cuisine and his flair for exciting, contemporary dishes.

The Jubilee Restaurant

At our exquisite Jubilee Restaurant, every evening is a special occasion. Be soothed by delightful live music as you savour delicious imaginative cuisine, made with fresh local produce wherever possible. Choose from the extensive table d’hôte and a la carte menus created by our team of chefs. We have a kitchen garden at our Sidmouth hotel where we grow some of the herbs and vegetables used in our tempting selection of dishes. To complement this outstanding fine dining experience, we ask gentlemen to wear a jacket and tie. (We can, of course, make medical exceptions to our dress code and are happy to provide a jacket and tie if required.)

The Sun Lounge

With huge bay windows overlooking Sidmouth’s famous Esplanade, our Sun Lounge is a gorgeous spot to enjoy a delicious light lunch, a morning coffee or a Devonshire cream tea. Cosy sofas, plump cushions and antique furniture make the Sun Lounge a comfortable haven at the heart of the Victoria Hotel where you and your friends will love to unwind, relax and chat.

Set within the outdoor pool complex, the Pavilion Bar offers lunch, snacks and drinks, which you can enjoy al fresco May - September. What could be lovelier on a sunny day than enjoying lunch by the pool?

Please reserve your table in advance. Non-residents are very welcome.
