Create unforgettable family memories at Wildwood Devon’s best British wildlife park this summer. Wildwood Devon’s Summer Bonanza promises an action-packed summer adventure.
From Saturday 22 July – Sunday 3 September, Wildwood Devon will be hosting a Summer Bonanza like no other, with help from its much-loved animals. From living history to outdoor adventure, we’ve got loads to keep you entertained.
Based near Ottery St Mary, Wildwood Devon is set in 45 acres of stunning woodland and home to British species no longer found in the wild including red squirrels, brown bears and grey wolves.
Wildwood Devon also offers a range of family-friendly attractions, including a world-class maze, outdoor adventure play and indoor soft play and an authentic Saxon Village where you can try your hand at medieval arts and crafts.
Wildwood’s maze is set to become a hub of activity this summer. An interactive trail will guide you through with goodie bags for those that make it to the end. And if that doesn’t sound like enough, join us for our Water Fight Fridays, where we let children and their grown-ups loose in the maze with water pistols. Warning – it will get wet!
Craft workshops will also be running in our Saxon Village. From medieval rune carving to jewellery making, we have all the tools to make you feel like an authentic Saxon. Or why not take part in some games and crafts focused on wildlife conservation allowing you to engage with nature directly?
Those that enjoy a touch of thrill can conquer the heights on our tree-top drop slide or race down our 30-ft zip line. Visitors will also be able to explore Wildwood’s ancient woodland and get up close with unusual wildlife from Britain’s past and present during our animal talks.
