Two Devon hotels named as best for a British seaside holiday

The Times has published a report listing the 25 best hotels by the British seaside, featuring two of South Devon’s best loved hotels.

Coming in in the 2^nd and 3^rd spots respectively are Gara Rock in Salcombe and the Cary Arms Hotel and Spa in Babbacombe.

Both these hotels have the atmosphere of being inclusive while maintaining an easygoing nature. There are also spa treatments available at both and some incredible views across South Devon. Gara Rock is located near a former smuggler’s cave with lovely sights of Salcombe’s coast, while the Cary Arms can be found right on the coast at Babbacombe, perfect for those who want to see more of the English Riviera. The team at Gara Rock are also famous for their restaurant and both are praised for the quality of their spas and leisure facilities.
