There’s a summer of adventure planned at Canonteign Falls

This summer head to Canonteign Falls on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park for a summer of fun and adventure for the whole family.

Canonteign Falls, Devon's hidden gem on the edge of Dartmoor is nestled in a breathtaking landscape,  visitors are invited to discover an immersive experience in amongst waterfalls and ferns. This summer, as well as a chance to explore this beautiful landscape, made up of 90 acres of parkland, waterfalls, lakes and gardens, there are a host of additional activities to enjoy over the summer holidays.

Renowned for its magnificent series of waterfalls,  lakes, and an array of family-friendly adventure playgrounds, Canonteign Falls boasts an expansive 90 acres of parkland ready for visitors of all ages to enjoy. The Victorian Fern Garden, granted prestigious Plant Heritage National Collection status, presents an enchanting glimpse into the 19th-century obsession with ferns and the mystical world of fairies that promise to enhance the visitor experience. • South West Highest Waterfall – Lady Exmouth Falls is one of England’s highest single-drop waterfalls at 70 m high.
• Victorian Fern Garden: Step into the enchanting world of 19th-century fern obsession and fairies. View our Plant Heritage National Fern Collections.
• Alpaca Experiences: On July 30th and August 15th, book a unique alpaca experience with  Alpacas. Connect one-on-one with these beautiful animals against the backdrop of lakes and waterfalls.

• Summer Children’s Activity Trail: Fun adventures for young explorers.

Throughout the summer months, there is a Children’s Activity Trail ideal for younger explorers and Willow Dinosaurs and Fairies among the Ferns, where you can wander among the greenery and see magical creatures and prehistoric creatures as you explore.

In July and August, the popular Alpaca Experiences are back at Canonteign, giving you the chance to connect one on one with these lovely creatures and there will be a Model Boat Harbour on Lily Lake, where you can sail away on a miniature adventure.
