Street Food Warehouse are delighted to announce the first Plymouth Street Food Festival is heading to Central Park (PL2 3DG) for three days of food-filled fun! Over the early May Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 29th April to Monday 1st May, 20 top street food traders from across the South West and the rest of the UK will all be ready and waiting to serve you the best range of cuisines from all over the world. From Bao Buns, Seafood Rolls, and Poutine to Tibetan, Moroccan and Afghan, there’s going to be such a great choice of food to choose from. Plus the organisers are planning to add an entertainment stage with live music and fun for all the family!

The first Plymouth Street Food Festival is brought to you by Street Food Warehouse who run street food festivals across Wales and the South West. When asked about the festival they said:

“We’ve wanted to host more festivals in the South West as the population is always so receptive and are generally lovers of good quality food! We also run Cornwall and Devon Street Food Festivals in Newquay and Ilfracombe and we are so excited to be heading to Plymouth’s beautiful south coast! Every single trader at our festivals serves a different cuisine, meaning there’s so much choice of quality food on offer! Vendors apply from all across the UK to trade at our events which means we can pick the best street food for people to try! We’re planning to add some entertainment with a live music stage so you can enjoy some fantastic food and have a boogie! We can’t wait to start trading in Plymouth and hope to get a good turn out in our first year so that we can come back here again and again!”

The festival has currently announced three of their top food traders for 2023 who will be attending the Plymouth festival. They include ‘Little Marrakech’, who have attended every Swansea Street Food Festival and are back once more, serving quality Moroccan dishes like their giant Shawarma. Next, local trader ‘Got Crabs’ will be serving freshly caught seafood served straight into your mouth! Finally, for all you desert lovers, ‘Churros Hermanos’ will be serving their expertly made churros with thick white, milk and dark chocolate sauces. They have perfected their craft and we can’t wait to try their golden sticks of glory! These three look set to tingle the taste buds of anyone who dares and there are many more local and national vendors that Street Food Warehouse will be announcing very soon.
