Applications are invited from emerging creators that are connected to the South West of England. Submissions are free and open to all and is a selling exhibition. The closing date for entries is 31st March 2022 at midday.

The theme for the 2022 Sculpture Exhibition is connectivity, and this can be interpreted however you like in terms of materials, form, growth and especially potential energy. It can apply to the body; to place; to others; or paradoxically, between materiality and the void. Connectivity implies affinity, openness, both being receptive to and actively seeking, relatedness.

This year there will be a £1000 Ashburner prize, supported by Caradon Granite, which will be awarded for the sculpture that best represents the theme. The 2022 selectors are ceramicists, Sandy Brown, arts author and academic, Penny Florence and Stone Lane Trustee, Sandy Lipo. Please submit photographs of your work or details of proposed work including dimensions and weight if possible.
