Devon’s multi-award-winning visitor attraction and campsite, River Dart Country Park, have opened a brand-new activities area at the home of professional rugby union club, Exeter Chiefs.
Located at Sandy Park Stadium, the River Dart Country Park Kid’s Zone boasts a range of activities to enhance the match day experience. Available at each men’s and women’s home games, participants can enjoy three areas in the Kid’s Zone; The Adventure Zone, Accuracy Zone and Skill Zone.
Working alongside outdoor activity provider CRS Adventures, the River Dart Country Park Kid’s Zone is the first outdoor centre in the UK to offer activities of this kind, at a sport stadium. The exciting activities include a 7.5 metre Climbing Wall, Adventure Trail, Caving Experience, Archery, and a Rugby Ball Pass Challenge.
“We’re incredibly pleased to have the River Dart Country Park Kid’s Zone up and running at Sandy Park. The Kid’s Zone is a fantastic space filled with activities to enjoy on match days, and really adds to the fantastic Sandy Park match-day experience. River Dart Country Park’s family-friendly culture sits at the very heart of what we do, and it’s great to be able to bring this along to Exeter Chiefs game days. We’ve loved working with Exeter Chiefs in the past, and it is great to be in partnership again. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the River Dart Country Park Kid’s Zone in the upcoming season!” Said Roger Sell, the General Manager, River Dart Country Park.
