Powderham Castle has announced that they will be keeping their grounds, gardens and children’s fairytale trail open during lockdown so that local people can get out and exercise.
The estate has also announced that there will be no entry charge, but that donations would be welcomed.
The gardens will be open Friday to Sunday from 11am until 4.30pm and takeaway refreshments will be open, however, the toilets will remain closed as per current guidelines.
Powderham Castle can be found beside the River Exe and has been a family home for over 600 years.
