Thriving waterside destination, Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard has a whole host of things to do and delight in this Valentine’s Day. It’s fun and frolics all the way, with resident Vietnamese restaurant Pho launching a citywide giveaway come treasure hunt! 50 Valentine’s cards will be hidden around Plymouth and anyone lucky enough to find one will be treated to a free bowl of Pho. The cards read “Whether you’re single, in love, or in a situationship, here is something from us to you”; these will be hidden in five locations on 14th February. Wine and dine
There is no finer location for a date this Valentine's Day. Looking out onto the Yard’s lawn, classic French restaurant Bistrot Pierre is offering an indulgent Valentine’s menu. It starts with a complimentary glass of Veuve Devienne, followed by three delicious courses. This is available for £36.95 per person and runs from 9th-18th February.
Home to Plymouth’s freshest seafood – straight from its own fishing boats – and the city’s first speciality rum bar, is the incredible independent restaurant The Hook & Line. Its Valentine’s menu on 14th February kicks off with Champagne upon arrival, before launching into three mouth-watering courses for £90 per couple.
Wildwood has a two course Valentine’s menu for just £19.95, available from 10th-15th February. Resident wine bar, Le Vignoble, delivers on charm and romance, with wine, fizz, and French light bites served by candlelight. Or head for a romantic rendezvous at Wagamama for authentic Asian and Japanese cuisine; Pho for freshly cooked Vietnamese food; Seco Lounge for an awesome all-day menu; or Hub Box for next-level burgers and barbeque.
