Kents Cavern, one of Devon’s most iconic prehistoric attractions, is celebrating a remarkable season of success after securing several major accolades at both the regional Devon Tourism Awards and the national Group Travel World Awards. Both award ceremonies took place on 27th November 2025, in Devon’s Sandy Park and The President Hotel in London.
At the Group Travel World Awards, Kents Cavern proudly claimed the title of Best Group-Friendly Attraction – Small, an award that highlights the attraction’s exceptional dedication to welcoming group visitors, offering enriching guided tours, engaging educational experiences, and a service-focused approach that consistently exceeds expectations. It reflects Kents Cavern’s long-standing reputation as a must-visit destination for school groups, travel clubs, tour operators, and international visitors seeking a deeper understanding of Britain’s Stone Age history.
Celebrations continued at the Devon Tourism Awards, where Kents Cavern secured an impressive three accolades, showcasing its broad appeal and commitment to excellence across various aspects of the visitor experience. Its much-loved Carols in the Cave event earned Gold for Tourism Event/Festival of the Year, a testament to its atmospheric, immersive setting and its ability to deliver a truly unique festive celebration deep within the caves. The attraction also received Gold in the International Tourism Award, recognising its strong global profile and success in drawing visitors from around the world to explore its ancient chambers. Rounding off the night, Kents Cavern’s café was awarded Bronze for Café & Tearoom of the Year, celebrating its focus on quality ingredients, warm hospitality, and a relaxing environment that complements the overall visitor journey.
